The tfm Image Archive is an academic image database based on the digital repository UNIDAM. The specially developed metadata structure enables the systematic organization of image data along scientific questions in the field of theater, film and media studies. A link to GVK (Gemeinsamer Verbundkatalog) and the inventory catalog of the tfm Video Collection create a research source wich offers possibilities beyond the field of mere image data.

Building on the holdings of the former diatheque, the archive currently comprises around 5,000 data records and is continuously growing with data from various sources (repros, photographs, film and video stills).

The image archive can be used by all employees and students of the tfm and is accessed via web browser. To get access, please contact david.krems@univie.ac.at
